I thought their only prices were the same as their in-store price? |
Thats what the stupid camera told me in their commercials. |
If you place an order for in-store pickup, you will pay whichever price is lower (online or in-store). |
Looks to me like several of the titles are available for shipping only |
double jeopardy with jean claude van damme. How could I resist. Jk. Family guy is good though |

My CC is currently being liquidated. Managers ran the store in the ground. |

godwheel said:I thought their only prices were the same as their in-store price? That's never been true for music and movies. I laugh when I hear that stupid ad since I know how bogus it is. I don't think they include that info on the CD/DVD pages in their ad. |
I went Sunday morning, already out of Borat. But did pick up Slither (not even listed in the ad). Oh well. I really hate CC. They were in a huge box just like the WalMart $5 bin. Blech. I wonder if Best Buy will price match for Borat since it was in the ad? |
One tip: My Circuit City had a big bin for the movies, and it was heavily picked over. But I found pretty much all of them I wanted mixed in on the regular DVD racks -- and everything rang up at $2.99. So if all you see in the bin is 50 copies of Big Momma's House 2, don't despair. |

Blech. i prefer the box-type of selection area. all in one place, rather than hunting it down. is it in the comedy section, or drama? wait, it's over by the wall that you never would have thought to look for, since they took it out of it's normal spot for the sale. BB should match it. Easy to show the ad and get it matched. However, they do have a rule that they don't match OOS items at the competitor store...so just don't tell them it's OOS. |
Tried to match at Best Buy and they refused, citing some new edict that they will not price match for limited length sales before or after the holiday (CC deal was a 4 day pre-Thanksgiving sale). Asked them to show me where it says that in their price match policy and they could not, only saying that this is a new policy. Store manager could not explain to me how this was a different scenario than any other price match, and he couldn't, so I explained how $4 just cost him a customer this holiday. |
