Got this in my email the other day:

Coupon Code = weT7VRVM
Email Text:
"This coupon is valid until the end of November, 2008. Please feel free to forward this coupon to everyone you know. You may also post this coupon on any forum, listing, or website. The coupon is valid for any product or part that Subaruparts.com sells."

Place items in your cart, then display your cart, enter the coupon code (you don't need an email address in there). It didn't say in the email, but you need to buy $50 worth of stuff.

I got a pretty good deal on some stuff I've been interested in. I think that the best discounts were on the genuine subaru accessories, more so than the maintenance type items. I figured this could help all those people who just bought the 08 STi's for so cheap.

Very tempted to pick up a few things ... not sure that I really need a cargo tray or any nets, but still might go for it.

you should get the cargo tray if you are anal about cleanliness (FWIW, there's also a JDM version of the cargo mat that covers the back of the rear seats for a whooping $200+). at the bare minimum, you should at least get the all-weather rubber mats (part # J501SFG200). in regards to the cargo nets; however, i don't recommend the one that goes behind the rear seats (part # F551SFG200) because it requires you to drill holes (how thoughtful of subaru!).

edit:

you can access most of the installation guides here.

Shipping is a bit high on the larger items, but the prices were pretty good on most things to make it a better deal.

I picked up 20 oil filters (they are getting rid of the aa100 ones again...these are top quality filters), autodimming rear view mirror, rear seat back cargo net, rear LSD gear oil, and coolant conditioner. I wanted the fogs, but the ones they have listed are for the impreza/wrx. I emailed asking about the STi fogs with the bezel.

FWIW, the cargo nets are great. Had one in my 05 and it was perfect for keeping that misc crap from rolling around. I kept a qt of oil and some antifreeze (just in case), ice scraper, etc in there.

Most of the impreza stuff is the same. They don't seem to have the performance items update though. They have a lot for the 04-07, but mainly only regular accessory and maintenance items for the 08.

You never know when but you do know that you will need the GD head gasket kits!

I'm lucky that I get "mechanics" price (usually 20% off list) on all of my parts at my local dealer. I believe mechanics price is approx. 20% above cost.

My cargo tray is a big piece of cardboard I cut in the shape of my back area.
Free is good.

Something similar for me. I use those plastic dividers Home Depot uses to separate the layers of their landscape stone. It's like cardboard, but made of plastic. Sheets are about 3'x3' square. Works great!

thx OP finally pulled the trigger on the OEM NAV bluetooth for my 08 STI. $165 shipped. Still grossly overpriced and should of been included OEM in the first place but I digress now I will finally stop fumbling for my douchebag BT ear piece while trying to turn down the audio.

Go IWSTI
Nasioc has a ton of info...but I find that there is a lot of arguing and "name calling" there. I use both, often, but iwsti always seemed a bit more civil, just my .02 though.
