3 Products that are 3 User = $1 per to me.

Some of the ads ive seen so far for this have been 1 user. Im sure there will be more, and Ill probably end up with more once I buy TurboTax, but....

Just download and install the Lenovo trial version of NIS 2009 directly from Symantec. You have 90 days until it expires. Then wait for the Staples sale, add a coupon, and make a little money on the deal. Enter the new subscription key and give yourself an additional full year. I've been using NIS 2009 for over a week, and it's much better compared to past versions. The vastly lower CPU usage and addition of Norton Identity Safe makes it entirely worth the money.

Great, been looking for this for a while now, thanks OP. Would prefer the 10-user but there are never any rebates on those so.

Unfortunately the rebate is in terms of a Visa pre-paid card instead of a check. This is a huge PITA. It took forever to get rid of the last one. Norton uses these because they get a kickback for selling your purchases history from the card, so I try to purchase something completely meaningless like gasoline. Good luck with that, it took 4 tries before I could buy gas with my rebate 'money.'

Oh, and enjoy NIS, but probably ought to toss Systemworks in the trash. It seems to trash as many systems as it 'fixes.'

The NIS 09 at Staples on Black Friday is 3 User edition not 1 User.
Staples SKU # 758743 in Black Friday ads is 3 user.

There a total of two proof of purchases inside the box. One is one the inside flap of the box and the second is on the last page of the NIS 09 installation guide.

I already have 09 installed on one lappy over 08... it keeps subscription. I'm just waiting for FAR dealy to get new code. I do like 09 interface better than 08.

I agree the cards are a PITA but happily Staples clerks know how to work with them so you can use up odd amounts remaining on the cards B&M. I run the cards down paying eBay fees, etc. then use the "crumbs" at Staples. I've cleared out 4 cards on one purchase. You just have to be able to tell cashier how much remains on each card.

Great deal on excellent software. This security suite is very highly regarded, read the reviews. Definitely not the bloated software of old.

Someone help me out here. I have an expired 360 2.0. What is my cheapest best way forward? I am confused about the trial you mentioned Croushore. Is my 360 to NIS considered an "upgrade" for rebate? I hate navigating this sh...erm, stuff.

edited to add: I am downloading the NIS trial. can't lose, I think. Should I uninstall 360 or load NIS "over" it?

NIS09 will detect and uninstall older Norton s/w, then install the new vs.

IMPORTANT EDIT: keep your computer off the internet during uninstal/install. I got whacked by virus immediately by accidently keeping it plugged in.
