It is time for the December All-Clad seconds sale. As always, it is held at the Washington County Fairgrounds, just south west of Pittsburgh, PA, off of I-79. This time, they are holding the sale for three days rather than two.

The dates and times are:
Friday, December 5, 2008: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 6, 2008: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday (bonus day), December 7, 2008 : 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Directions to the grounds and contact information, are here.

You can also shop online at Crate, or visit the Crate store located in the Greentree Road Shopping Center in Pittsburgh. Click here for Crate's sale information.

You can find some great deals *if* you are willing to fight the crowd and spend some time inspecting the items. In the past, they have also had bargains on Emerilware.

Dress warm and expect a crowd. In the past they have taken cash, checks, and credit cards. You can call All-Clad at 1-800-255-2523 to inquire.

that just seems like cruel and unusual punishment to subject people used to the warmth of a kitchen to fight for stuff outside in the freezing bitter cold.

Wish I lived nearby! I have given up trying to find sale prices on All-Clad Stainless. This stuff is the best but it never goes on sale. I would not skimp on the Emerilware. Go for the real thing. More even heating, cooler handles, etc.

If you live near a Linen-N-Things perhaps you can snap up discounted All-Clad at their Liquidation Sale.

Cookwarenmore.com has All-Clad seconds all-year round, though the prices are not as good as the All-Clad outdoor sale. Additionally, I've had reasonable luck at Ross and TJ Maxx, and especially eBay lately. I've gotten many "first quality" new pieces on eBay recently, using the live.com CashBack, for less than the cost of seconds at Ross/TJ Maxx/Cookwarenmore.

Maybe you can plan a trip to the 'Burgh in early June.

I picked up both of my All-Clad pans at Williams Sonoma on clearance. One was a WS-only 4.5 qt. SS saucer clearanced from $189 to $89. The other was a 3 qt. saucier clearanced from $150 to about $70. These are about the only things I've ever purchased from Williams-Sonoma so I don't know how frequently they do such things. For the bigger pot, my local store was out, but I was able to call WS HQ and find a store that had it in stock. For about $10, that store shipped it directly to me.

If anybody lives near a william sonama outlet, they are having sale on All-Clad seconds. Just picked up a 5.5 Qt SS Duch Oven for $ 102. Original price was $219, had 40% off and they had $15 off if you spend over $100 promotion, quite a deal. Also picked up a 2.7 Qt yellow Le Creuset oval cast iron oven for $25 which I think is a better deal though. Not sure when the sale ends, I would call to find out.

Oh, awesome timing! I'm headed up there for my Reserve drill weekend on the 5th and will have time to fight the crowd. Fantastic post, OP!!!

Anyone score any particularly good deals at the sale? I hit the Williams-Sonoma outlet on black friday, and they had 40% off their already discounted outlet prices on cookware PLUS $50 off purchases of $250+. I picked up a 7 qt. all-clad stainless pasta pentola (7 qt. stock pot w/lid + pasta strainer), all-clad double boiler, and a Kitchen Aid food grinder for $200 out the door, which I thought was pretty screaming hot considering the normal outlet price would have been ~$430 and retail would be $750+.

Bump... starts tomorrow. If you're heading here, we're supposed to have snow on and off all weekend, so dress warm & bring something to keep you dry.

It's inside so the cold wasn't much of an issue. They had EVERYTHING there, and the pots and pans were 40-60% off. I saw copper pans, stainless, the MasterClad2 (with the rough exterior), nonstick pans, roasting pans, and lids for everything. I walked away with a small lid (we have two pans with same lid size, only one lid) which was 50% off, and a 12" saute pan plus lid for $80 or so, originally would have been $150, I think.

Going to plan better for next time and save more money. Well worth the trip!
