Let the dreamers give it a shot, and we'll all have some fun on Friday! Shipping weight is 22 lbs!

Contact one seller and they said it was for one hard drive.

Call or email before ordering people.

Sometimes it is too good to be true.

I'm going to laugh when you open the box and there's only 1 hard drive inside.

a *50* pack?

Well, 22 pounds does sound heavy for ONE drive. Hmm...

OTOH, it costs a bit more from other folks: http://www.provantage.com/western-digital-wd5000bevt-50pk~7WND9031.htm

Must be a faulty description at Amazon; even when purchased from another of Amazon's suppliers, it still says 50-pack.

Still a decent deal on 500GB 2.5 drive, you probably didnt think this one through, but this is normal price that I get my 2.5s. Even if this has and probably does have 1 drive, still good deal.

Actual Weight 0.30 lb(s) (from other websites) even with a pack of 50 total would be 15lbs, the Amazon description says 22lbs, 7lbs packacking material?

There's a difference between spending $120 for a 500GB hard drive and spending $120 for 50 500GB hard drives that you don't need (and are hoping to flip on eBay) and only getting one.

It is a 5400 rpm drive, very slow drive. Not worth that kind of money.

A pack of 50? Did they mean a pack of 50 with each HD containing only 10GBs?

I've seen these weird price mistakes from Amazon quite a bit on FW, anyone EVER get them to ship?

Nope. I've tried about 10 of these PMs. Never got a thing from Amazon. When you see that it's available for the same price at a variety of vendors, then it's a mistake from the distributor and there's just no chance.

I wonder if it is how it appears on the invoice when received (at the merchant)
