Yes, probably more towards cellphone camera quality than "Real" camcorder quality. Not something you'd shoot a wedding with for sure

The reviews on Amazon are ok most people think they are going to get a $400 digital camcorder or less than $100

I tried one of these cheap camcorders once and returned it after several shots. All I can say is this is only a toy.

Check out the Aiptek A-HD+ for better video quality. It shoots in 720p 60FPS or 1080p 30FPS. You can find them at WalMart or eBay. I have one and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have an Aiptek HD, which claims to record in 720p (got it on clearance at Sears for $65 around a week ago).

The recording quality on mine is decent - it's not skippy or jerky, and the image seems solid, however the colors are also a little washed out, and nothing is in perfect focus (it's not super blurry, but it's definitely hot what i'd consider HD).

Inversely, I also picked up some cheaper Aiptek cameras ($28 each on clearance) for my younger brothers for christmas - the video they produce is visibly wobbly when you move the camera, as if the lens is made out of jello.

You get what you pay for. I'm satisfied with mine. My brothers will probably enjoy theirs for as long as it takes to break them.

Your best is to look up the camera model on Youtube and see sample videos that users have put up. A quick glance indicates it's not too great.

I used to have the older version camera of this brand and I mainly used it for thier webcam feature which I really was happy with the quality. I am looking for a cheap reasonable webcam think i will pick this up.

Thanks OP!!
