ah, it's a pc game! been seeing a billboard for Left 4 Dead in the past few weeks and thought it was a movie coming out to compete with Saw 5.

so how good is this game? I would want to buy this game to play online. heard there is a 4 player coop feature. looks good!

the 4 player co op is great, as is the 4v4 versus.
i never knew the source engine could look this good.

There is a demo out (single and muli player) . If you have a Steam account they have it their for download .

My take on the game is ...its ok , but gets repetitive too quick for my liking . Still a console port too which is an added negative imo, thus from a heavy gaming pc user that luvs heavy graphics.

Still green to op for the deal though .

Current issue of MaximumPC, instead of simply reviewing it, devoted an entire article to it. They raved about it, gave it a perfect 10 score.

I lasted just over 30 mins got , got bored looking around in the dark. deleted the demo .

How do you figure it is a console port when it is based on the Source (PC) engine?

Some people declare that anything that also comes out on a console system is a "console port". You are correct though that this was developed for PC and simultaneously ported to the Xbox 360. So, the Xbox version is a PC port.

You are one of 4 survivors in a city full of zombies and have to make it to a safe room to end the stage. Meanwhile, you are set upon by hordes of zombies, along with several boss zombies. Valve instituted what they call "The Director AI" which customizes the game based on how you're doing. While the maps don't change, the encounters you have are different every time. That was true. They took it down for two days, but the demo has been back up again ever since. Just open up steam and you'll see the demo available for download.
