Haven't really seen any Black Friday deals posted, hope its not taboo on Fatwallet before the ads get to the public.

In Meijers Black Friday Ad for Friday (obviously) they have a one time use coupon for 15% off any General Purpose Item (Of note this may be only valid from 5am to Noon). Unfortunately the crappy ad scan is too bad to read the fine print, but usually the only things that are Excluded are the obvious: Alcohol, prescriptions, gift cards, money orders, ammunition, etc. so don't go expecting to work out a scam [B](also excludes Door Buster Specials on the ad).

What this really means though is you can use this 15% can be used on things like:
- Game consoles (PS3, Xbox360, Wii [mini-note, the PS3 and Wii have DoorBuster Deals where you get free stuff, so might or might not work, you may have to convince them you only want the console and NOT the Doorbuster Freebies]) or games themselves.
- Electronics like Blu-ray players, TV's, Stereo's, Surround Sound, Ipod, Zune, DVD Movies, Blu-Ray Movies, GPS.
- Tools like: Any manner of Hand Tools or Power Tools, Air Tools, Compressors, Car Tools and Accessories (Battery Recharger or Jumpstart?).
- Furniture of all kinds
- Home goods like Microwaves, Dyson Vacuum Cleaners, etc

Also of note, they have a GFM 42" 1080i Plasma as a Doorbuster for Friday for $499! I think this is their in-house brand, I'm sure its not the best, but for $499 what do you expect? Might be good for that lonely shelf in the bathroom.

Also it looks like they are bringing back their Santa Bucks again for Saturday! These are coupons that basically take a certain amount of dollars off a purchase of a certain amount or great. It's always a 20% off amount, up to $20 off $99.97 or more, good for just about any item. Great use for these is to take $10 off a brand new $50 Video Game or $12 off a $60 game.

$4 off $19.97
$6 off $29.97
$8 off $39.97
$10 off $49.97
$12 off $59.97
$14 off $69.97
$16 off $79.97
$18 off $89.97
$20 off $99.97

Yeah I'm one of those Classic Viewers as well, but I wouldn't so much call this a repost or dead as it specifically highlights the 15% Coupon and Santa Bucks instead of making people dig through the entire list of deals on the Meijer BF Post.

Looks like I also missed these Black Friday threads being in Classic View, but I still can't get into the Modern no matter how many bells and whistles they throw on there!

And agreed about the big chains playing it safe, that Best Buy ad has to be the worst Black Friday Best Buy Ad I have seen in many years, if not ever. I think I saw a few Blu-Ray movies that seemed like good deals but thats about it. Saves me from having to wait in their insanely long lines though!
