WOW WOW very nice PC with good specs. I do wish it had a core 2 instead but still a great price. I really hope BB has a great deal on Black Friday this year |
Shipping is $20 as none available in store locally. |
I am using this laptop right now. Picked it up about a month ago for the same price. Good laptop. The screen is really wide. |
443.98 shipped. I'm gonna pass. If it was 400 shipped, then that would have been good for me. |
Acers should be bought at this price, no deal. 300 or 350 this is a deal. |
green for the deal. |
So will this laptop get online anywhere without needing any other accessories other than what comes with the laptop? Thanks. |

Copied from the specifications: "Built-in Wi-Fi Certified wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n) Built-in 56 Kbps modem Note that you will have to provide your own telephone cable to connect the 56 Kbps modem. |
So I have to connect the telephone cable to the laptop to access the internet? |
Yes, its got built-in Internet connectivity independent of dialup modem. Its specs list built-in WIFI and Ethernet LAN port (direct connection to router or broadband modem via Ethernet cable). |

Sometimes you have to explain it very basically I think. If you don`t have an internet connection at home (paid for) with a wireless router, you will not be able to acess the internet via wireless. I don`t assume people know this, cause I sold a laptop to somebody who didn`t understand you just don`t "get on the internet" because you have a wireless device. Sometimes you can access an unsecured network if you wanna risk the various possible consequences. A possible exception to this would be one of those cities that provides wireless service for free if you are lucky enough to live in one of those few locations. |

Ok this is how our computer systems are set up in my house. Our main computer has cable internet which has the main router. Then we have the wireless router which gives the wireless signal to my kids 2 computers (one downstairs and one upstairs). I also have a laptap (Toshiba) which I do not need to attach anything to in order to have access to the internet. It automatically gets online. I'm just trying to figure out if this one would do the same thing. |
