I was in my Target today and noticed that the regular version of Fallout 3 for PC had a price sticker of $69.99 on the shelf. I knew this couldn't be right, so I scanned it on a price checker. The price came up as $39.99 to my surprise. That's $10 cheaper than it should be. I'm guessing it's a mistake, but maybe not. YMMV since it could be just my store that made a mistake.

EDIT - On the Official Fallout 3 forums, others have mentioned the PC version is $39.99 at Target. So I guess this is an unadvertised sale.

Support this game. It's an excellent game and it's got very minimal DRM. Let's continue to pirate the hell out of Spore (and the like) and actually support developers who don't cripple their retail products.

The biggest knock on this game comes from people that call it "Oblivion with guns". Am I the only one that thinks that's awesome?

I just finished the 2nd one a few weeks ago after having played it before and quit before the end. I'm eager for the third, but I'm going to wait until after we've moved into our new house. Looks awesome though, and $40 is a good price for a new release these days.

I am playing it although it is the 360 version. It is an excellent game, it controls like Oblivion but it is really nothing like it to me. It is really fun I cannot imagine you wouldn't get fun out of it if you payed full price.

I picked it up for $39.99 from the Target at Seatac Mall in Federal Way. This was a week ago though.
