CDNN Sports (cdnnsports.com) has the S&W sigma series for $289.99 before S&W $50 rebate or you can get 2 extra Hi-Cap mags. Best price I have seen in a while. I believe you have to call to get pricing as they don't publish price online or in the catalog. Gander Mountain had the same models for $300 AR a couple of weeks ago.

Springfield Armory has 2 free magazines with any XD/XDm purchase, and includes a picatinny rail for your laser/light.

XD's cost a little more than S&W, but are very popular

i was at the gun store the other day, jam packed with people ... i wonder why??? (buy plenty of ammo too)

If you check the rebate on the S&W site, it says "$50 AND two magazines" per verifiable serial number. $240 plus fees for a S&W? That's sweet. Too bad I have no money -- only way I could afford that right now is to hit a liquor store after getting the pistol!

Nice find, OP.

[edit]Expiration is also listed as 1/31/2008. Here's the link to the rebate page.

Well Buds Gun Shop has had the sigma's for $289 SHIPPED for a while. And yes that is before rebate. Though I choose the M&P over it a couple weeks ago. I was working in the area of his shop so I stopped in and bought mine.

Bud's is a great shop, i've bought from them before, easy to send to my local $20 FFL dealer, no tax either.

gunbroker.com is also good, check these prices: GunBroker.com

CDNN charges $15 shipping. As mentioned here, Buds Gun Shop has the Sigma for $290, but shipping is free.

about mail ordering guns, make sure you get an ultra reliable one, as your local dealer wont be there to support you (for free).

the Sigma is bottom of the line S&W...

Yeah, that's what this country needs...more assault rifles. Cause when you're out there in the woods shooting squirrels you never know when you're going to need to squeeze off 10 rounds in 3 seconds to drop one of those little rascals.

How many times do you people have to be told to keep politics out of here? This is about a "hot deal", nothing more, nothing less. Keep your BS to yourself!

Oh no, you misunderstand. These people aren't buying the guns for themselves! No, that would just be silly. They are buying them so they can hand them out to drug dealers and gang members.

Sorry, parastar, I don't think I'll vote for you.

That's the older/expired rebate.

Gawd, I'm already affected the turn of the year...getting older must be affecting my ability to read the calendar.

Here's the current offer, as stated above.

Uh... If I'm going to buy something that has the capacity to kill someone (or multiple people), I would want to know that it will do exactly what I want it to do everytime (meaning well made). wouldn't you? Anyone interested in a great deal on some cheap made in china hand grenades?

This isn't a politics thread.

moderators out there?

for the gun owners interested in this thread, realize there are going to be trolls that will post in these things just to provoke you
negative their comments and alert the moderators.
responding with your own political views only makes the situation worse and encourages this kind of crap in other threads here at FW

please keep threads on topic everyone.

Thank You

Why is it bad that XD's are made in Croatia? There are *NO* CQ problems over there. This isn't your daddies Yugo, Croatia is democratic, a NATO ally, and the XD is a damn good gun. Always has been.
