Edit: It's back. Now $49.99 - $30 rebate = $19.99 + tax. Delivery or in-store pickup is ok. CC "Simple Rebate" (handled by Parago) looks like its entirely online, with no mail-in or UPC required. Still ugly!

Uniden WXI2077 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Submersible Waterproof Handset and Caller ID.
Originally $59.99(?)-$30.00 = $29.99, save an additional 20% with in-store pick up using coupon code PYAXCA7AG9 = $23.99 plus tax.

• 1 handset only -- expandable to 6 handsets
• Wireless network friendly
• Up to 12 hours talk time
• Handset Speakerphone
• Submersible Cordless Handset - Meets JIS7 Waterproof Specifications

This went for $32 after coupon a couple of weeks ago.
Uniden DECT phone reviews generally are not as good as Panny DECT phones, but I wanted a truly waterproof handset, and the Panny model is only water-resistant (and costs more).
Good reviews on the CC site: "rugged ,clear as a bell, excellent speakerphone, very hard to accidently disconnect, very bright backlight, a very manly man phone!"
Yes, it is ugly yellow, orange and black!

Good deal and looks kinda cool.

EDIT: The local cc didn't have any in stock. So they gave me a $24 gc, applied it to the original charge, and the phone will be shipped to me.

$2.17 and 30 minutes of my time for the phone.

OK, I may be blind, but where do you enter a coupon code in the CC checkout process?

Edit: Bozo007 Below had the answer, and yes, I was blind... Thanks Bozo!

Then you probably didn't see how incredibly attractive this phone is going to look in your living room.

I got what looks to be the same thing in target today but the model is WXI 477. It was originally $57.99 & it was on clearance for 50 percent off.

I have one and it's a good phone. If I could find one on clearance at my Target I'd pick up another one (or two). The WXI2077 is DECT 6.0 and it's the newer model.

The phone is perfect for people who talk a lot on the phone in the shower.

Anyone know if you bought two of these, can you use both handsets with one base and just toss the second base?

At this price, buying just the extra handset costs more than buying the base too.

I know you can do that with the 5.8ghz version (I'm doing it). I imagine you can do it with this one as well. You just unregister the handset from one base and then register it to the other base.

i bought this phone for just that reason to keep by the pool. I had a lucky day, when i went for in store pick-up they didnt have it pulled to the CS counter yet. the CSR gave me a 24 GC (24 minute guarantee) without I having to ask. She also let me repurchase this phone with the GC for a total price of 1.61 OTD. Thanks OP for the GREAT DEAL!

I picked up a 4 handset package that included 3 regular handsets and one of these waterproof ones from Frys on Friday for $99; So if you're adding one of these to an existing Uniden set this is a smoking deal, however the package listed on CC's site is cold compared to Frys current price. Just an FYI!

Edit: Just noticed it was available on Frys.com as well- Link a doodle doo!
