edited: please click the ball from this link to get the discount: Text

Alright, I haven't seen any deals on bowling balls so I thought I'd share this.

This ball just dropped down from $119.99 to $84.99 shipped at bowlingball.com Only the 15Lb or 16lb varieties are discounted. Use the drop down menu to select the weight of the ball, and you will see the $35 instant discount.

At $85 shipped, this ball is already a very good deal. But there is a gas promotion with Brunswick that offers up to $100 back when you purchase select balls. This is one of those deals where you send in receipts for a $10 rebate each month. Sure it takes 10 months to get $100 back, but money is money. You can find the promotion details here: Link

here's my breakdown in price:

+ $85 - ball
- $100 ($10 x 10)
+ $4.62 (11 stamps)

you pocket $10.38 after it's all said and done, even though it might take a year. even without the rebate, the ball is a steal.

The rebate form specifies "Participating Pro Shops." Does anyone know if the internet retailer qualifies as a participating proshop?

Price discount on the Ultra (via the OP's link) is not working for me after selecting either a 15lb or 16lb ball, no drilling, no extended warranty..

sorry but somehow the price is only good if clicked from their newsletter link. i've updated the link accordingly.

as for the rebate, it is listed on the bowlingball.com website on the top of the page. therefore, the rebate is valid. i've also seen it advertised on numerous other major bowling etailers.

Seems like a good deal but pretty high on hassle. Have to mail in the rebate form, then mail in a gas receipt each month to get get 10$ back at a time.

Green for you, OP! Al final de cuentas, this is a free, pro ball!

Now I need to find a place to get holes drilled.

I could not find the rebate from the "bowlingball.com website on the top of the page". Any pointer?

Thanks for the help.

I just found a phone number from the rebate form. I would like to verify with them before placing the order. Will report what I get.

If you go to Brunswick and click on find a pro show and then put in Daytona Beach, FL, the first entry is Daytona Bowl Pro Shop, which is bowlingball.com. I'm in for 1 - thanks OP!

Thanks, I saw the email for the $100 Brunswick thing, but didn't bother to look for a deal...

I'm in. Been meaning to go down to 15 from 16 to save my wrist these days... getting old.

Thx OP! Been looking for a 2nd ball, and for this price, I'm in!

This ball gets a 204.5 on their "perfect scale".

Good deal OP, but that's bs on incremental or progressive rebates. As if rebates didn't take long enough as it is. Green for you

What kind of extended warranty would you expect on a bowling ball? Doesn't seem like the type of item that would require one or that I'd even care about when purchasing.

You are spending another $5 or so to collect the rebates, plus the time.

Totally confused:
in the rebate form, the address is:
Consumer Products Rebate Program
Brunswick Bowling & Billiards
P.O. Box 329
Muskegon, MI 49443-0329

while in the terms and conditions, the address is:

International Rebates, LLC Att: Gas Rebate Dept. P.O. Box 120 Tallevast, FL 34270

so what 's up with that?
UPDATE
Just got off the phone with Wendi, was told that I need to send the rebate form to the first address to get the voucher, then send the voucher and gas receipt to second address to get the money.
BTW, for online purchase, we just need putting on the website address on the form, don't have to worry about the physical address of the store.
