It'd be nice to be able to set up alerts for certain keywords within a certain thread. Prime example would be the movie screening thread, to set up an alert for "Chicago" so you only get alerted when that word is posted in the thread. Other uses would be for all those "Official" clearance threads, etc, and you could put in an alert like "Toaster" in the target thread. What ya'll think? I think this would be useful. |

regular topic alerts should activate this feature (alerts within thread) providing you check all categories or the categories you are interested in seeing this alert come up for. you should be able to select "title only", "body and title" or "body only". to access your alert, go to my account > topic alert. |
