I've gotten a rebate (on a laptop) from MicroCenter before. I think they are good.


Shipping is $17.


How would one go about connecting this printer to a wireless network? Is it possible?

Does this come with a starter toner or is it a full size?

The rebate is not a microcenter rebate, it is a Brother rebate through parago (rebateshq).

That being said, I have never had a problem with Brother rebates.

you will need a linksys WET11 or something like it from a different vendor. WET11

I have the 4070 and love the speed and the print quality is pretty nice. It has the same design and look - I think it is just a networking or duplexing difference, but it has the same engine and housing. Unfortunately, there are no Brother color laser toner refills or toner kits on the market, but I never really had good luck refilling color lasers anyway. It doesn't give you one page of warning that the toner is low so you need to have some toners on hand if you use it for critical printing purposes. One thing I don't like is that you can't print anything when any color is empty. Expect to spend over $300 for a set of 4 replacement toners. It pays to order toner online because the office stores only stock the low page count toners for about the same as you can get the much higher page count toners online. Its cheaper to buy a 2nd printer with toner in it than to buy more toner. Someday, I am going to have my own toner mine so I can get rich.
