Decent I guess... you can snag a new kit with 28-135mm for $1300 through this CashBack promotion on eBay though, so it's not thaaaat great.

i know about this eBay..but its too risky for me..especially if you have to spend that much

I think it was a fluke in their Circuit City System. I ordered the Camera and saw the cheaper price the next day. CC wouldn't do a price adjustment because I used the AAA discount and payed less then $1400. I just re-ordered the camera at the cheaper price instead of spending all day arguing with the CSR. Plus you get a Epson r280 printer free after rebate.

Bummer that the deal didn't last.
