This is an awesome deal for those in need of a Hot water dispenser for those tea and instant hot coffee cravings. (ofcourse its not a Zojirushi but price is 1/4th of that, so you decide) You also get a free coffee maker that has good reviews on it.

ok here is the deal:

TATUNG THWP-3L Eletronic Hot Water Dispenser + TATUNG CM-100 Black 4 cup Coffee Maker - Retail :

$54.99 (dispenser) + $12.99 (coffee maker) - $12.99 (combo discount) - $15.00 (code: EMCAJCGAF) - $1.50 (live CashBack) - $20 (MIR on the dispenser) + $8.25 (shipping unfortunately on the coffee maker) = $26.74

Very rarely does Newegg make this combo + coupon code discount mistake. Jump in quickly if you need one of these combos. On the other hand, the hot water dispenser for $19.99AR/AC with free ship is a great deal by itself.

Here they are!

Thanks. I may just get the hot water dispenser; is it a good deal for just that one item? I've never heard of this brand before (looks like a Chinese brand). Any thoughts? Thanks.

Edit: One Newegg.com reviewer wrote, "Tatung is a well respected Taiwan company big in Asia and Europe. They make a wide range of products like Samsung does, everything from computers to appliances. Tatung manufactures pc hardware for HP, Compaq, Acer, Dell."

I bought a Zojirushi dispenser couple yrs ago for 75 bucks and it is just plain awesome and if I compare any other brand model to that, I am not gonna be satisfied at all. For 20 bucks, its quite a steal and sure you might have some complaints or missing features, but it will heat your water and serve the purpose. Not heard of this brand myself, so someone that has experience with this brand can glorify us with details.

Thanks for the quick response!

I believe Tatung is a well established, many decades old Taiwanese appliance manufacturer.

I used to sell tons of Tatung CRT monitors back in the day when I managed a computer store. Solid products and a solid company. They've been selling electronics in the US since the early 80's at least.

why not? worst case they don't give you the CashBack... nothing to lose! infact I have received live CashBack on all my coupon orders at Newegg.

Interestingly, the CashBack was calculated at before coupon price!

The lable on the product, unfortunately reminded me the story that some soldiers in Iraq were electrocuted while taking shower. The problem is (said to be) the faulty grounding on some pumps made in some country...
